WHO WE ARE

We are an approved non-profit organization focused on making a real difference in the world. The Good Neighbors Foundation is a 501C company that works to improve the living experience of those around us.
With so many people in need, it is our firm belief that it is our duty and responsibility as good neighbors to help those who are not in a position as fortunate as ours. We see the housing problem as a genuine crisis that needs attention and we’re here to provide the solution by advocating for those without a voice.

That’s why we have partnered with the Silverstone Property Management Company, a real-estate development and management company that shares our values and is determined to make a difference. By combining our non-profit motivation with their efficient business model, we aim to improve the housing crisis that is plaguing our community. Silverstone Property Management Co. has served our community since 1993 and has over two decades of experience in real-estate development.

What We Do

Our aim is to help underprivileged families and engage in community service that makes a meaningful difference. From reducing the homeless population and developing low-income housing to hosting food drives and other events that serve the greater good. Explore our various projects to learn more.

OUR PROJECTS

housing development

Developing Low-Income Housing

More than 66,400 people in Los Angeles Country experience homelessness and live on the streets, in their vehicles, or in homeless shelters. With the county’s high housing costs, an increasing number of individuals are left without homes.

We have partnered with Silverstone Property Management Co. to foster the development, management, preservation, and financing of affordable housing. In addition to renovating existing housing, we are developing new properties for low-income families.

Supporting Underprivileged Families

Those who are not as privileged as us need our help.

Food Drives and Food Pantries

In 2019, more than 35 million individuals in the U.S. experienced hunger. The COVID-19 pandemic has made this significantly worse, with more than 42 million people experiencing food insecurity.

We want to reduce this number and make sure that no man, woman, or child in our community goes to bed hungry. The Good Neighbors Foundation holds food drives and food pantries to help reduce food insecurity in our community.

homeless support

Homeless Transition Projects

568,000 people in the United States are homeless. As of 2021, 66,436 of these individuals are in Los Angeles County alone. Our community is facing hard times and it is up to us to help the homeless population in Alhambra flourish and meet their potential.

The Good Neighbors Foundation aims to not only help these individuals find housing, but also assist with job searches, securing food, and more.

Community Service

Our different community service projects include book drives, holiday meals, book exchanges, and more. With these, our aim is to involve our local community in meaningful events that have a positive outcome and make an impact.
